Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join its Buildings and Places construction team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves conducting accurate land surveys, site measurements, and construction layout verification to support building projects.

You will operate total stations, theodolites, GPS/GNSS, and laser levels, preparing survey reports and maintaining records while ensuring compliance with UAE codes and industry standards. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Land Surveying.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in land surveying for building construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble and Leica.
• Advanced knowledge of GPS/GNSS surveying technology.
• Experience operating total stations and other surveying instruments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys and site measurements for building projects.
• Operate total stations, theodolites, GPS/GNSS, and laser levels.
• Establish and verify survey references and coordinate systems.
• Prepare survey reports and maintain site records.
• Verify construction positioning against plans.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and standards.
