Job summary

GINCO Cont. Co. LLC in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a senior survey professional to lead land surveying for major infrastructure projects in Sharjah.

You will oversee geodetic network establishment, setting-out, topographic surveys, and monitoring from a field to a GIS-ready deliverable. The role requires 10–14 years with Tier-1 UAE civil contractors, licensure, and proficiency with Leica Total Stations and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Geomatics, Surveying Engineering, or Civil Engineering; 10+ years land surveying experience.
• Licensed/Registered Surveyor with UAE Municipalities; expert in Leica Total Stations and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Professional Licenses / Certifications: Valid UAE Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Geodetic Network Establishment strong Establish and verify primary and secondary project benchmarks referencing UAE coordinates.
• Setting-Out Governance strong Lead and verify precision setting-out for building corners, grid lines, foundations and corridors.
• Topographic Earthwork Surveys strong Oversee topographic surveys and compute earthwork quantities using Civil 3D.
• Structural Plumbness Deformation Monitoring strong Establish monitoring protocols for verticality and settlement in high-rise towers.
• Consultant Survey Verification strong Conduct joint inspections for building layouts and benchmarks.
• Survey Equipment Management strong Ensure calibration, maintenance and certification of survey equipment (Total Stations, GPS, GNSS, levels).
• As-Built Survey Compilation strong Prepare and submit final as-built drawings and GIS data for client/municipal approval.
• Team Leadership strong Train and allocate tasks to site surveyors to ensure 24/7 survey coverage.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Geomatics, Surveying Engineering, or Civil Engineering; 10+ years land surveying experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Licensed/Registered Surveyor with UAE Municipalities; expert in Leica Total Stations and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Professional Licenses / Certifications: Valid UAE Driving License.
• Required UAE / GCC Construction Experience: 10–14 years with Tier-1 UAE civil contractors managing survey works on large-scale infrastructure, high-rise towers, and master-planned villa developments.
