AVANTI CONTRACTING - L.L.C in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled Land Surveyor to perform topographical boundary and construction surveys using Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level and related tools. You will set out foundations, columns, roads and utilities, verify control points, interpret drawings, and prepare field notes and as-built drawings while ensuring compliance with UAE standards and project specs.

Strong coordination with engineers and site teams is essential to maintain accuracy and schedule

Formación

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of land surveying experience in construction projects.
• Prior UAE construction project exposure is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surveying instruments and reading technical drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct topographical boundary and construction surveys using Total Station, GPS GNSS and Auto Level.
• Perform setting-out for foundations, columns, roads, utilities and civil works.
• Establish and verify survey control points, benchmarks and reference levels.
• Interpret construction drawings, site plans and specifications.
• Ensure accurate alignment, elevations and dimensions of construction elements.
• Carry out pre-construction, ongoing and as-built surveys.
• Coordinate with Engineers, Site Engineers and Managers on surveying needs.
• Prepare survey reports, field measurements and as-built drawings.
• Verify excavation levels, foundation layouts and structural alignments.
• Identify discrepancies between site conditions and drawings and report them.
• Support quantity measurements and earthwork calculations.
• Maintain instruments and equipment calibration and records.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct topographical boundary and construction surveys using Total Station GPS GNSS Auto Level and other surveying instruments
• Perform setting-out activities for buildings foundations columns roads utilities drainage systems and other civil works
• Establish and verify survey control points benchmarks coordinates and reference levels
• Interpret construction drawings site plans architectural drawings and engineering specifications
• Ensure accurate alignment positioning elevations and dimensions of construction elements
• Carry out pre-construction ongoing construction and as-built surveys
• Coordinate with Project Engineers Site Engineers Consultants and Construction Managers regarding surveying requirements
• Prepare survey reports field measurements sketches and as-built drawings
• Verify excavation levels foundation layouts structural alignments and finished levels
• Identify and report discrepancies between site conditions and approved construction drawings
• Assist in quantity measurements earthwork calculations and site verification activities
• Ensure surveying activities comply with project specifications quality standards and applicable UAE regulations
• Maintain calibrate and ensure proper handling of surveying instruments and equipment
• Support infrastructure works including roads pipelines drainage networks and underground utilities
• Maintain accurate survey records and documentation for project submissions and inspections

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in land surveying within the construction industry
• Previous experience in UAE construction projects is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and surveying techniques
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and surveying software
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
• Experience in building construction, infrastructure, roadworks, and utilities
• Knowledge of UAE construction practices and surveying standards
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and under site conditions
• UAE driving license is an advantage
