Job summary

GINCO Cont. Co. LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced field surveyor to perform daily setting-out for piles, columns, foundations and walls across high-rise, villa and civil infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Diploma in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering with 5+ years of field experience, proficiency with Leica Total Station and AutoCAD, a UAE driving license, and a proven on-site precision track record.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform precise setting-out of piles, columns, foundations and walls.
• Transfer benchmark levels to upper floors with digital levels.
• Check formwork alignment, plumbness, verticality and top-of-concrete levels.
• Collect topographic data before and after excavation and backfilling.
• Participate in joint survey checks with consultant inspectors for sign-offs.
• Download and process survey data from Total Stations into AutoCAD and prepare sketches for site engineers.
• Ensure daily care, battery maintenance and field adjustment checks of surveying instruments and prisms.

Job description

Daily Field Setting-Out

Perform precise setting-out of pile caps columns shear walls foundations road alignments and underground utilities

Level Transfer Benchmarks

Transfer benchmark levels to upper floors of high-rise structures and across villa plots using digital and auto levels

Pre-Pour Formwork Checks

Check formwork alignment plumbness verticality and top-of-concrete levels prior to casting

Topographic Data Collection

Collect topographic ground levels before and after excavation and backfilling operations

Joint Inspections

Participate in joint survey checks with consultant site inspectors for WIR sign-offs

Data Processing

Download and process survey data from Total Stations into AutoCAD prepare survey sketches for site engineers

Instrument Care

Ensure daily care battery maintenance and field adjustment checks of surveying instruments and prisms

Essential Qualifications: Diploma in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering; 5+ years field surveying experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Leica Total Station (TS16/TS09), GPS/GNSS rover, and AutoCAD.

Professional Licenses / Certifications: Valid UAE Driving License.

Required UAE / GCC Construction Experience: 5–8 years in UAE construction surveying covering high-rise buildings, villas, and civil infrastructure.
