Job summary

Target Engineering Construction Co LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Land Surveyor to lead surveying activities on major Oil & Gas EPC projects and other large-scale infrastructure developments in the UAE. You will guide survey planning, execution, data analysis, and documentation across multiple sites.

The role requires strong leadership, expert use of Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS, with a focus on accuracy, reporting, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Geomatics, Geology, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related discipline.
• Professional Land Surveying certification is preferred.
• Strong proficiency with surveying software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement land survey plans aligned with project objectives and client requirements.
• Perform topographic, boundary, control, route alignment, and as-built surveys using advanced surveying technologies.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Land Surveyor to lead and execute critical surveying activities across major Oil & Gas EPC projects and other large-scale infrastructure developments.

As a Senior Land Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of survey data that supports project planning, engineering design, construction execution, and asset development.

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Land Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of survey data that supports project planning, engineering design, construction execution, and asset development.

Survey Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement land survey plans aligned with project objectives and client requirements.
• Perform topographic, boundary, control, route alignment, and as-built surveys using advanced surveying technologies.
• Verify existing site conditions and provide accurate data for engineering design and construction activities.
• Establish and maintain survey control networks and benchmarks across project sites.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Process, analyze, and validate survey data using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and other survey software.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, drawings, maps, and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Provide technical recommendations based on survey findings to support design and construction decisions.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all survey deliverables.

Equipment Management

• Oversee the operation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of surveying instruments, including: Total Stations, GPS/GNSS Systems, Digital Levels, Laser Scanners (where applicable)
• Ensure all equipment meets quality and accuracy standards.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise survey teams across multiple project sites.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, Contractors, and Site Teams.
• Allocate resources effectively and ensure survey activities are completed within project schedules.
• Resolve survey-related discrepancies and support cross-functional project requirements.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain survey accuracy and reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging survey technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

Documentation & Records Management

• Maintain accurate records of survey data, reports, calculations, and project correspondence.
• Archive survey documentation in accordance with company and legal requirements.
• Support audits, project reviews, and client reporting requirements.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• Minimum 8-12 years of relevant surveying experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior or lead surveying role
• Proven experience in: Oil & Gas EPC Projects, Civil Infrastructure Projects, Marine Construction, Power & Utility Projects, Industrial Plant Construction.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Geomatics, Geology, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related discipline
• Professional Land Surveying certification is preferred

• Strong proficiency in: Total Stations, GPS/GNSS Survey Equipment, Digital Levels, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS Applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills
