Job summary

Client of AQJOBS is seeking an experienced Laboratory Engineer with a strong background in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry to lead laboratory operations in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience in testing, formulation development and quality control to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in laboratory operations.
• Experience with material testing and formulation development is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and improve new chemical formulations based on product requirements and industry specifications.
• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials, finished products, and other materials.
• Perform material testing to evaluate product quality, performance and durability.
• Analyze test results, prepare technical reports and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Identify and troubleshoot formulation or material performance issues and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with production, quality control and technical teams to support product development.
• Ensure laboratory equipment are properly maintained, calibrated and used per procedures.
