Job summary

The Emirates Group in Dubai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Java full stack to design, implement, and maintain enterprise software within an agile team. You will contribute to the CI/CD pipeline, ensure code quality, and resolve production issues with minimal supervision.

Requirements include 3+ years of backend Java experience, Spring Boot, microservices, and strong DB/Cloud knowledge. On-site role with travel benefits and a tax-free salary in the Dubai region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of backend development experience in Java (8+) with microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot, REST, and OO design.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical design and implement secure, optimized code.
• Develop and maintain microservices and APIs within CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide on-call production support and resolve issues within SLAs.
• Ensure 100% unit testing, logging, and monitoring integration.
• Stay current with technologies and apply learnings to improve code quality.
