Job summary

etek.solutions in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our enterprise software team. The role requires 6–8 years of hands-on development experience and strong Java/JEE expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable applications.

You will work with Java EE, ORM (JPA/Hibernate), Spring, and web frameworks to deliver robust solutions. UAE-based candidates preferred; notice period up to one month is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6–8 years of software development experience.
• Proven Java development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java EE platforms.
• Strong OO analysis, design principles, and design patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of Java/JEE internals: class loading, memory, transactions.
• Relational databases and SQL expertise.
• Experience with ORM tech: JPA 2 and Hibernate.
• Practical Spring Framework experience.
• Web development with JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.
• Sun Certified Java Developer or equivalent experience.
• Notice period of one month or less.
• UAE-based candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based software applications.
