Job summary

mindpool in Dubai, United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to contribute to enterprise software within the airline industry. The role emphasizes ReactJS frontend and Java backend engineering, with microservices and secure, maintainable code at scale.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to design and deliver robust applications, participate in on-call support, and drive automation, testing, and performance optimizations in a cloud-native or hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience building enterprise applications, ideally in complex or large-scale environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on development tasks and production issues.
• Understanding of secure coding, automated testing, code quality, and software maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior technical engineers to analyze application requirements and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Translate technical solutions for small- to medium-sized initiatives into low-level designs and working code.
• Design, develop, and maintain medium- to large-scale enterprise applications and software modules.
• Write secure, optimized code in accordance with approved customer coding standards.
• Develop frontend applications using ReactJS and associated libraries and tools.
• Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Participate in rotational on-call support and resolve production incidents within SLAs.
• Ensure built-in software quality, including 100% unit testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
• Analyze and resolve defects while minimizing rework.
• Apply refactoring practices to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.
• Implement logging and monitoring hooks throughout the development process.
• Follow coding standards, engineering guidelines, and software development best practices.
• Contribute to software engineering playbooks and technical standards documentation.
• Continuously evaluate relevant technologies and apply improvements to code quality and application performance.
