Job summary

Mediclinic Middle East in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Embryologist to provide advanced embryology services in the IVF laboratory. You will lead the embryology team, work with clinicians to optimize patient outcomes, and ensure high standards of practice and compliance across ART procedures.

The role requires a strong background in ICSI, embryo culture, cryopreservation and micromanipulation, with DHA/DOH/MOH licensure and a Master’s in reproductive sciences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Health Sciences with emphasis on Human Embryology.
• Master’s degree in Assisted Reproductive Technologies or Clinical Embryology or Reproductive Sciences.
• Valid or eligible DHA, DOH or MOH license as an Embryologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced embryology and andrology procedures including ICSI, embryo culture and assessment, embryo transfer, biopsy, cryopreservation and gamete handling.
• Ensure effective laboratory operations, equipment management, safety and quality control.
• Maintain high standards of quality assurance, documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance, training and mentorship to embryologists and staff.
• Collaborate with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams throughout patient treatment cycles.
• Contribute to research, service development and improved laboratory techniques.
