Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embryologist to lead and perform advanced embryology laboratory activities within a leading IVF/ART setting. You will contribute to IVF and ART services delivered to patients, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring substantial experience with IVF and ICSI, embryo culture, cryopreservation, and embryo assessment, plus a strong understanding of quality-control systems and regulatory requirements for the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Embryology/ ART related field.
• Significant IVF laboratory experience and strong IVF/ICSI skills.
• Experience with embryo culture assessment and cryopreservation.
• Solid understanding of quality-control and traceability systems.
• Compliance with region-specific professional/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise day-to-day embryology laboratory activities.
• Handle and assess sperm and embryos according to protocols.
• Perform IVF and ICSI procedures.
• Assess fertilization and embryo development.
• Embryo grading and selection; support transfers.
• Cryopreservation and thawing of embryos and gametes.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and quality-control parameters.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and infection-control procedures.
• Participate in SOP development and improvement.
• Support junior staff and collaborate with IVF team.
• Work with physicians to deliver high-quality IVF services.
