Job summary

AHOY is seeking an IT Systems and Network Administrator in the United Arab Emirates to manage and support our IT infrastructure, including Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and network security. You will ensure secure and efficient IT operations across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong server management, network configuration, and backup/recovery expertise, with a minimum of 5 years experience. Hyper-V, VPN, and security best practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in IT systems and network administration.
• CCNA or equivalent certification required.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, firewall management.
• Strong backup and disaster recovery knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server environments and Active Directory services.
• Design, install, and maintain firewalls; manage VPN access.
• Configure LAN/WAN, VLANs, and network devices; provide Level 2/3 support.
• Develop backup and recovery strategies; manage schedules and retention.
• Provide end-user IT support and printer/endpoint management.
• Administer IT infrastructure including access control, CCTV, and IP telephony.
