Job summary

flydubai is seeking an accomplished IT Operations Leader to steer end-to-end IT services, infrastructure operations, and project delivery from Dubai. You will ensure stable, secure, and efficient technology platforms and lead a high-performing team across data centers, cloud, and core systems.

The role requires deep experience in IT governance, incident management, and disaster recovery, with a strong focus on risk mitigation and alignment to business priorities. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in directing IT operations and managing IT staff.
• Familiar with COBIT, ITIL/ITSM standards and disaster recovery.
• Experience with IT monitoring tools and ITSM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic oversight of IT infrastructure, systems and platforms with high availability and resilience.
• Oversees 24×7 NOC operations, real time monitoring, incident response and minimal business impact.
• Leads infrastructure initiatives, data center modernization, cloud migration and platform refreshes.
• Governance for infrastructure project portfolios, risk mitigation and alignment with business priorities.
• Collaborates with Cyber Security Operations to strengthen security posture and vulnerability response.
• Runs disaster recovery drills and ensures data backup/restore operations comply with requirements.
• Drives audits and health checks to optimize performance and reliability.
• Mentors IT operations staff and ensures capability growth and accountability.
