Job summary

EDGE, via its ADVANCED CONCEPTS unit in Abu Dhabi, seeks an experienced IT infrastructure administrator to design, deploy, and sustain server and OS environments. You will manage user accounts, security controls, databases, and backups while ensuring high availability and policy compliance.

This role requires 5+ years in IT infrastructure, with strong Windows/Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), AD/Exchange, IAM & RBAC, and DR planning expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure administration experience.
• Experience managing server OS, security, backups, and DR planning.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and data classification is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and OS for performance and reliability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Maintain databases, backups, and recovery processes.
• Develop and execute backup strategies and DR plans.
• Apply updates and patches to keep systems secure.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT support and other departments to resolve issues.
