Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize multi-site infrastructure. You will oversee servers, storage, virtualization, backups, DR, network security, and ISO 27001 compliance, while coordinating with vendors for upgrades and renewals.

You bring 5+ years in IT infrastructure, strong knowledge of VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, and patch management, plus CCNA or Fortinet/Microsoft certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking, servers, virtualization, and backup.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, endpoint security, and patch management.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Manufacturing/production IT and IT/OT experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and cybersecurity best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft, VMware, or Fortinet are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Manage servers, storage, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Maintain network connectivity, firewalls, and IT security.
• Manage antivirus, patching, vulnerabilities, and endpoint security.
• Support IT/OT connectivity for production machines and equipment.
• Provide L3 infrastructure support and root cause analysis.
• Manage IT hardware, assets, and infrastructure documentation.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and plan future capacity.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and ISO 27001.
• Coordinate with vendors for upgrades, support, and renewals.
• Maintain secure IT/OT network segmentation.
