Job summary

The Internal Audit Group at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank seeks an experienced auditor to lead regular audits and reviews, assess compliance, and report to the Board. You will coordinate planning, oversee tests, and drive improvements in internal controls across the bank.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in operations and financial audits, credit reviews or IS audits.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA/CA/CIA) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead regular audits and special reviews in line with standards and policies.
• Prepare and assess reports for BACC/BOD/CEO/Management.
• Coordinate audit planning and conduct regular/special audits.
• Lead specialised/audit assignments and perform tests as required.
• Issue draft reports with observations and propose control enhancements.
• Prepare final reports and executive summaries for governance.
• Create action plans, conduct auditee meetings and track open issues.
• Monitor risk register and audit programme against current developments.
• Review policies to ensure adequate risk mitigation.
• Manage investigations, whistle-blowing assignments and team development.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance or Computer Science

CPA / CA / CIA or other relevant certification
