Job summary

KPMG Middle East is seeking a senior internal audit professional to lead engagements within co-sourcing/outsourcing models in Abu Dhabi. The role emphasizes advising on COSO-based control environments, and developing sustainable governance structures aligned with IPPF standards.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s in accounting/finance with CA/ACCA and CIA credentials, and bring 7–8 years of financial services experience, including team leadership across multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent.
• Professional certification such as CA/ACCA is required.
• CIA qualification is required.
• 7-8 years of experience in Internal Audit, Corporate Governance, ERM and QA Review in Financial Services.
• Experience managing teams and handling ~3 engagements simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Managing internal audit engagements within co-sourcing and outsourcing contracts.
• Advisory on development and documentation of sustainable internal control systems (COSO).
• Developing and implementing a sustainable corporate governance model.
• Quality reviews of internal auditing based on IPPF/IPPF principles and IIA standards.
• Developing, implementing and reviewing compliance management systems.
