Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer (Residential) will lead the design and execution of high-quality residential projects from concept to completion. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai involves meeting with clients to understand their lifestyle and requirements, developing design concepts, space plans, and material palettes, and presenting design proposals and mood boards. The role includes overseeing the preparation of 3D renders, detailed drawings and documentation, coordinating FF&E selections, and collaborating closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure design intent is realized on site. The Senior Interior Designer will oversee project timelines, maintain quality standards, manage site visits, and provide guidance to junior designers to ensure consistent, client-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

Strong Interior Design and residential design expertise, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects. Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals to create functional, code-compliant layouts. Ability to develop and oversee detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for contractors and project stakeholders. Experience in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including finishes, furniture, and accessories. Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Strong project management, time management, and coordination skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with client-facing experience in a multicultural environment. Knowledge of local building regulations and construction practices in Dubai is highly beneficial. Previous experience in a senior or lead designer role within residential interiors is preferred.
