Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Australian Board/Fellowship qualification in Intensive Care Medicine.
• Relevant consultant-level clinical experience.
• Current specialist registration and good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level care to critically ill and high-dependency patients.
• Manage complex medical and surgical ICU cases.
• Develop individualized critical care plans from assessments.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, sepsis and multi-organ failure.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive critical care procedures.
• Coordinate with emergency medicine, surgery, cardiology and other specialties.
• Participate in rapid response, resuscitation and emergency management.
• Communicate treatment plans and progress with patients’ families.
• Maintain records and ensure UAE regulatory compliance.
• Engage in governance, teaching, audit and quality-improvement activities.
