Job summary

Stafmed is seeking a Consultant Critical Care for a full-time role in the UAE, focusing on managing critically ill patients with complex conditions. The role emphasizes advanced airway management, organ support, and multidisciplinary collaboration in a high-acuity hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has board certification in critical care, a Tier 1 qualification, and at least 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience, with licensing eligibility in DHA/DOH/MOHAP.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine or equivalent.
• Tier 1 qualification such as ABMS, RCPSC, UK CCT/CCST, European Board, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years post-specialisation in Critical Care/ICM.
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA/DOH/MOHAP.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage critically ill patients with life-threatening conditions.
• Provide comprehensive intensive care and organ support.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and treatment plans.
• Lead clinical governance, audits, and quality initiatives.
• Deliver advanced airway management and mechanical ventilation when required.
• Develop individualized care plans based on clinical assessment.
• Support education and professional development within the department.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to evidence-based practice.
