Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy seeks a Specialist/Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine to provide expert critical care for critically ill patients in the UAE. You will assess, stabilize, and manage organ support within granted privileges, collaborating with multiple disciplines.

The role requires a Western board qualification, strong decision-making, and excellent communication. UAE licensing and credentialing may be supported by the employer. Competitive remuneration available.

Qualifications

• Strong critical-care, clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD or equivalent).
• Recognized Western Board qualification in Intensive Care Medicine / Critical Care or equivalent.
• Relevant specialist/consultant-level clinical experience.
• Eligible for UAE Specialist / Consultant Intensive Care Medicine licence, subject to health authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Provide advanced life support and management of emergencies.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic instability, and multi-organ dysfunction.
• Initiate and monitor organ-support therapies within clinical privileges.
• Coordinate care with emergency, surgery, anaesthesia and other specialties.
