Job summary

Mastercard's Intelligence Center seeks a Senior Intelligence Analyst to collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence spanning geopolitical, cyber, fraud and physical security risks, to safeguard people, networks and business operations.

The role partners with Regional Security, Crisis Management, government and industry peers to inform risk-based decisions, develop threat scenarios, and produce clear, actionable intelligence for senior leaders.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience collecting, evaluating, and synthesizing intelligence from diverse sources.
  • Knowledge of intelligence tradecraft, including structured analytic techniques, threat modeling, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Understanding of geopolitical, physical security, and cyber threat domains.
  • Experience translating complex information into clear, actionable intelligence for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for senior executives.
  • Curiosity and proactive approach to identifying threats.

  • Support threat scenario development for red teaming, exercising, and resilience testing

Title and Summary Senior Intelligence Analyst

Overview The Mastercard Intelligence Center (MCIC) delivers actionable intelligence that anticipates threats and drives risk-based decisions to safeguard our people, networks, data, and business. Our team collects, analyzes, and disseminates intelligence on geopolitical developments, cyber threats, fraud trends, physical security risks, and emerging technologies that could impact Mastercard’s people, operations, and customers. Through continuous monitoring, advanced analysis, and deep partnerships with industry, government, and law enforcement, the MCIC helps to protect the trust ecosystem that underpins Mastercard’s global network and strengthens enterprise resilience.

All About You
  • Possesses a strong analytical mindset with experience collecting, evaluating, and synthesizing intelligence from diverse sources (open-source, technical, geopolitical, cyber, fraud, or physical security).
  • Demonstrates solid understanding of intelligence tradecraft, including structured analytic techniques, threat modeling, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Understands key threat domains (geopolitical, physical security, cyber) and can quickly learn emerging trends to assess their business impact.
  • Has experience monitoring threat activity and translating complex information into clear, actionable intelligence products for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Communicates effectively in writing and verbally to senior executive audiences, with the ability to brief senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, curiosity, and a proactive approach to identifying threats and informing risk-based decisions.
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies, political science, cybersecurity, international affairs, or a related discipline.
