Job summary

Wood plc is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer with extensive FEED experience for ADNOC offshore projects in Abu Dhabi. You will deliver high-quality instrumentation and control engineering, ensuring safe and compliant systems, while coordinating across disciplines for seamless offshore integration.

The role requires strong knowledge of offshore standards, instrumentation design, and multi-disciplinary coordination in a fast-paced EPC/EPCM environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience on ADNOC offshore projects or similar Middle East offshore developments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review instrumentation and control engineering deliverables for offshore oil and gas facilities, including jackets, topsides, decks, modules, and support systems.
• Prepare and review instrument index, I/O lists, instrument data sheets, specifications, installation details, hook-up drawings, and material requisitions.
• Develop and review control system architecture, instrument location plans, cable schedules, termination diagrams, loop diagrams, and cause-and-effect charts.
• Ensure all instrumentation designs comply with ADNOC standards, international codes, project specifications, and applicable safety requirements.
• Coordinate with process, piping, mechanical, electrical, structural, telecom, and safety disciplines for integrated designs.
