Job summary

Technip Energies in UAE, Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Designer to lead the development, coordination and production of Instrumentation and Control deliverables for FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC and Brownfield projects in the Oil & Gas sector.

The role requires 15–20 years of instrumentation design experience, offshore project know-how, and the ability to coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Telecom and Civil teams to ensure timely, compliant results.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15–20 years of Instrumentation Design experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation installation practices and offshore platform design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review Instrumentation and Control design deliverables for offshore and onshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Prepare and check Instrument Location Layouts, Control Room Layouts and Equipment Layout Drawings.
• Perform 3D modeling of field instruments and associated components; coordinate with other disciplines for design integration.
• Mentor junior designers and support design reviews, HAZOP, and client meetings.
