Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Lead to head delivery of major road, utilities and drainage works in Abu Dhabi. The role demands extensive experience with large-scale projects and strict adherence to program and safety requirements.

You will manage contractors, coordinate with authorities, review drawings and schedules, and communicate with stakeholders. Arabic language is preferred and 6-day, 10-hour work weeks apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years' experience delivering major infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, underpasses).
• RTA UAE project experience preferred but not essential.
• Arabic speaker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of roads, utilities, drainage, and infrastructure works while ensuring time, cost, quality, safety, and RTA compliance.
• Manage contractors and supervision teams to meet drawings, specs, and programme milestones.
• Oversee inspections, QA, HSE compliance, and Traffic Management Plan implementation.
• Resolve technical, utility, traffic, and site interface issues to minimise delays.
• Review construction programmes, method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and technical deliverables.
• Represent client in stakeholder meetings, manage variations/claims, ensure compliance with RTA and authority requirements.
