Job summary

STANTEC MIDDLE EAST LIMITED - DUBAI BRANCH is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Draftsman in Dubai to prepare detailed civil drawings for sewerage, drainage, and road projects. You will update drawings per comments and create as‑built drawings from site data, coordinating with engineers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

You should have 5–7 years of drafting experience, including 3–5 years in the UAE, and be proficient in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as an Infrastructure Draftsman, with 3–5 years in the UAE.
• Experience working with an engineering consultancy is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in the latest versions of MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD for sewerage, stormwater, drainage, irrigation, and road infrastructure projects.
• Update and revise drawings based on engineer comments and project requirements.
• Prepare as‑built drawings from site survey data and construction records.
• Review and interpret existing utility and infrastructure records.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other project stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain drawing standards and documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications and other engineering software to support project documentation.
