Job summary

STANTEC MIDDLE EAST LIMITED - DUBAI BRANCH is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to work on wet infrastructure projects including wastewater, stormwater, potable water, recycled water, water and wastewater treatment systems, flood management and water resources management studies.

The role requires 12-15 years of experience in master planning and design, with proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS and a suite of InfoWater/InfoSewer/WaterGems tools, and a willingness to be on site with CAD and field

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
12–15 years of experience in master planning and design of large-scale wet infrastructure.
Working knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, InfoWater, InfoSewer, WaterGems, SewerGems, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS, etc.
Experience in civil design of sewerage, stormwater and pressurized systems.
Hydraulic design/modeling experience in sewerage, stormwater and pressurized systems.
Ability to work independently with only ad-hoc support from the main office.
Willingness to be based on site or client office to carry out design work with the CAD team, NOC team and site supervision staff.

Responsibilities

Field visits, investigations and data collection.
Planning, hydraulic modeling and master planning.
Design development and report writing.
Preparation of tender documents, technical specifications and bill of quantities.
