Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Sr Cost Estimator with a decade of quantity surveying and cost estimating expertise for large-scale infrastructure and civil engineering projects. You will lead pre-contract estimates, cost plans and benchmarking to support competitive tendering.

The role includes developing BoQs and pre-tender estimates using CESSM, shaping procurement strategies, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design aligns with cost

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of cost management experience in construction.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proven English language technical writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-contract cost estimates, cost plans and benchmarking for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Develop and manage BoQs and pre-tender estimates using CESSM and industry standards.
• Support procurement strategies including packaging, tendering and contract formation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align design intent and cost objectives.
• Prepare and review tender documentation, including pricing schedules and contracts.
• Conduct market analysis and engage supply chain for cost data and procurement planning.
• Assist in risk and value management and cost control functions.
• Assist in identifying and developing responses to commercial risks.
• Attend and represent in commercial meetings.
