Job summary

Al-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies is seeking a Technical Manager ICT/ELV/AV to oversee all technical aspects of projects, design system architectures, review designs, and manage client relationships through technical expertise. The role requires strong communication and leadership across ICT/ELV/AV domains.

The candidate should have 7–10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's in a technical field, PMP certification, and hands-on experience in installation and commissioning of ICT/ELV/AV

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Communications, Electricals or Engineering.
• PMP certification is required.
• 7–10 years of ICT/ELV project implementation experience.
• Hands-on installation and commissioning of ICT/ELV/AV systems.
• Knowledge of ICT/ELV/AV standards, practices, and regulations.
• Knowledge of QS & QC processes.
• Good knowledge of networks, installation, testing & commissioning, and system integration.
• Basic knowledge in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical documents such as submittals, statements, manuals and training materials for ELV systems.
• Review drawings with the drafting team prior to consultant submission.
• Identify suitable solutions to meet tender requirements and site conditions.
• Prepare detailed proposals including design schematics and architecture.
• Attend client meetings for technical clarifications and presentations.
• Maintain liaison with clients, vendors and partners.
• Ensure designs optimize cost-effective use of resources and technology.
• Record and maintain completed project documentation.
• Monitor pre-construction activities and ensure adequate resources.
• Ensure engineering and design comply with authorities and manufacturer recommendations.
• Deliver projects on time with minimal supervision.
• Update planning data concerning effort, costs, schedules and personnel deployment.
