Job summary

SKLD Manpower Services in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Senior Hygiene and Quality Manager to ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, GHP) and our quality standards.

You will conduct hygiene inspections across kitchens, stores, transport and service areas, lead internal audits, maintain records, investigate complaints, and train staff while coordinating with Operations, Procurement, Transport and Maintenance to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience in the same senior hygiene and quality role (HQSC or HQSE).
• Arabic speaking is preferable.
• Preferable from catering background.
• Fluent in English and computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations, HACCP, GMP, GHP, and company quality standards.
• Conduct hygiene and quality inspections across kitchens, stores, food transport, and service areas.
• Monitor receiving, storage, preparation, cooking, holding, temperature control, labeling and expiry management.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, pest control, personal hygiene, waste handling, and chemical management.
• Conduct internal audits, identify non-conformities, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate food complaints, hygiene incidents, and product quality issues.
• Maintain HACCP records, inspection reports, temperature logs, audit records, and corrective action trackers.
• Conduct food safety and hygiene training for catering staff.
• Support municipality, client, certification, and external audits.
• Coordinate with Operations, Kitchen, Stores, Procurement, Transport, and Maintenance on hygiene and quality matters.
• Prepare periodic quality and hygiene reports and support continuous improvement.
