Job summary

NAFFCO Careers in Dubai is seeking a Senior Power Pack Design Engineer to lead the design, development and optimization of hydraulic power pack systems and their integration with vehicle chassis and related systems.

You will translate customer requirements into safe, reliable, manufacturable designs and guide the work from concept through drawing release, prototype validation and production support, collaborating across engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive or Mechatronics.
• Typically 8+ years in hydraulic power pack design or vehicle systems integration.
• Experience with engine, cooling, transmission and axle interfaces is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic power pack design and system integration.
• Develop and optimize hydraulic power pack designs in line with project specifications, customer requirements, operating conditions and applicable standards.
• Prepare and verify engineering calculations, hydraulic schematics, layouts, 3D models, assembly drawings and bills of materials.
• Finalize the design, performance and integration of engine, cooling, transmission, brake and axle interfaces within the chassis.
• Assess packaging, routing, material selection, maintenance access, assembly sequence, weight, manufacturability and cost.
