Job summary

Naffco Flooring & Interiors seeks a Senior Power Pack Design Engineer to lead hydraulic power pack design, development, and integration with vehicle chassis and related systems. You will translate customer requirements into safe, reliable, manufacturable designs from concept through release and production support.

The role requires experience in power pack design, system integration, and a strong grasp of DFMA, tolerances, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of design engineering experience with hydraulic systems.
Experience integrating hydraulic power packs with vehicle subsystems.
Ability to interpret specifications and translate into verified design requirements.

Responsibilities

Design hydraulic power packs and integrate with chassis and subsystems.
Develop and optimize power pack designs per specs and standards.
Prepare calculations, hydraulics schematics, layouts, 3D models, BOMs and specs.
Oversee prototype build, testing, and post-test design changes.
Coordinate with product development, manufacturing, procurement and suppliers.
