Job summary

AccorHotel is seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead installation, commissioning and maintenance of complex HVAC systems across guest rooms and back-of-house areas. You will supervise technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure compliance with safety and energy standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred.
• 35 years of hands-on experience in installation, maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen appliances and laundry equipment incl. electrical and mechanical components.
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve faults efficiently and safely.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to kitchen and laundry systems.
• Understanding of safety protocols, hygiene standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation commissioning, operation and maintenance of HVAC systems following manufacturer specs and safety standards.
• Ensure correct installation, alignment, connection and commissioning of HVAC equipment including AHUs, FCUs, chillers and related systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems including checks on electrical connections, refrigerant levels, filters, bearings, motors and sensors.
• Plan preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns, reduce energy consumption and extend system life.
• Supervise inspections and testing to ensure HVAC equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose HVAC-related issues and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
• Oversee repairs of critical HVAC components including compressors, motors and valves.
• Monitor temperature, humidity and IAQ in guest rooms, restaurants and public areas.
• Respond promptly to urgent HVAC service requests during peak occupancy or critical operations.
• Supervise technicians and contractors, allocate daily tasks and ensure quality standards.
• Ensure all HVAC work complies with safety, environmental and energy-efficiency standards.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of refrigerants, lubricants, chemicals and tools.
