Job summary

Accor in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of the hotel’s HVAC systems by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, while supporting guest comfort and facility operations.

You will maintain air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, assist contractors on planned maintenance, ensure stock of spare parts, implement energy-saving measures and monitor temperature readings to keep the plant room orderly and compliant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 02 years’ experience in the position is preferred.
• Proven hospitality experience is preferred.
• Familiar with company documentation and operational standards.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on-call if required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains repairs and adjustments of HVAC equipment including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split, window units, cold rooms and related systems.
• Assists contractors on scheduled maintenance and communicates equipment condition.
• Ensures adequate stock of spare parts and checks quality of materials.
• Implements energy saving measures to reduce costs.
• Monitors daily readings and maintains set parameters for temperature and chillers.
• Keeps plant room and workshop clean and organized.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior HVAC Technician to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the hotel’s HVAC systems by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, while maintaining guest comfort and supporting the smooth operation of hotel facilities.

• Maintains repairs and does necessary adjustment of the air conditioning and refrigeration equipment such as Chillers, AHUs, FCU’s, Split A/C Units, Window A/C Units, Cold rooms, Coolers, Ice machines, Extract fans and all the HVAC related equipments.
• Assist Chiller contractors on scheduled maintenance and briefs them on the condition of the equipments.
• Ensures of sufficient stock of spare parts for the A/C and Refrigeration related equipments and thoroughly checks the purchase materials for their quality.
• Executes energy saving measures and helps the department to reduce the energy cost.
• Ensures daily Chiller readings, Cold room readings and temperature readings are taken and all set parameters are maintained.
• Advises improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system.
• Ensures that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept in clean and tidy condition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 02 years’ experience in the position is preferred
• Proven hospitality experience is preferred
• Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on-call if required
