Job summary

Accor Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of hotel HVAC systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, while keeping guests comfortable. You will monitor chillers, AHUs, FCUs and related equipment, coordinate with contractors, manage spare parts, and implement energy-saving measures to reduce costs.

• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Familiar with the Operational Standards Manual for HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Monitor temperature and readings; ensure set parameters maintained.
• Assist contractors during scheduled maintenance and brief on equipment condition.
• Maintain stock of spare parts and ensure quality of purchases.
• Suggest system improvements to improve efficiency and reduce energy costs.
• Keep plant room and workshop clean and organized.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior HVAC Technician to ensure the safe efficient and reliable operation of the hotels HVAC systems by performing preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs while maintaining guest comfort and supporting the smooth operation of hotel facilities.

• Maintains repairs and does necessary adjustment of the air conditioning and refrigeration equipment such as Chillers AHUs FCUs Split A/C Units Window A/C Units Cold rooms Coolers Ice machines Extract fans and all the HVAC related equipments.
• Assist Chiller contractors on scheduled maintenance and briefs them on the condition of the equipments.
• Ensures of sufficient stock of spare parts for the A/C and Refrigeration related equipments and thoroughly checks the purchase materials for their quality.
• Executes energy saving measures and helps the department to reduce the energy cost.
• Ensures daily Chiller readings Cold room readings and temperature readings are taken and all set parameters are maintained.
• Advises improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system.
• Ensures that the plant room workshop and related areas are kept in clean and tidy condition.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 02 years experience in the position is preferred
• Proven hospitality experience is preferred
• Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
• Willingness to work shifts weekends and on-call if required
