Job summary

Careers International is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer in Dubai to manage and optimize procurement for HVAC/MEP projects. You will source materials, negotiate terms, and secure vendors while balancing cost, quality, and delivery schedules.

The role requires 6–8 years in procurement engineering, a mechanical engineering degree, UAE HVAC/MEP experience, and strong English communication. This on-site position demands close collaboration with project teams and stringent documentation

Qualifications

Minimum 6-8 years of proven experience as a Procurement Engineer.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
HVAC/MEP Contracting industry experience in the UAE.
Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project managers to understand material needs, delivery schedules and budgets.
Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining cost controls and quality.
Conduct market research to identify suppliers and industry trends.
Establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Monitor supplier performance and address issues to ensure compliance.
Work with project teams to resolve procurement-related challenges.
Stay updated on industry regulations to ensure compliant procurement activities.
Manage and update procurement databases and documentation.
