Job summary

Daikin Middle East & Africa FZE is seeking an Application Engineer to support HVAC projects in the Dubai region. The role involves selecting chillers, AHUs and FCUs per project needs, studying client requirements, and proposing optimized equipment with accurate costing.

You will prepare quotations, discuss technical details with clients and coordinate with contractors, internal teams and factories. Strong English, HVAC knowledge and CRM/MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in an Application Engineer role in HVAC.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and products.
• Ability to interpret drawings and perform heat load calculations.
• Proficient in energy calculations and selection of air-side equipment.
• Experience with Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and VRVs is desirable.
• Good verbal and written English communication.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Select HVAC equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRVs) per project needs.
• Receive inquiries from the sales department and study requirements.
• Propose optimized equipment selections and prepare costing/pricing.
• Prepare quotations and discuss technically with clients.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal departments for execution.
• Prepare compliance statements and project submittals.
• Lead technical discussions and clarifications on submittals.
• Provide technical support to clients and coordinate with factories.
• Maintain CRM records and generate project reports.
• Coordinate for non-standard specs and complex project requirements.
