Job summary

Daikin Middle East & Africa invites an Application Engineer to provide technical and commercial support for HVAC projects, evaluating customer requirements, selecting optimal equipment solutions, and preparing technical and commercial proposals.

You will liaise with sales, manufacturing and internal teams to deliver compliant, competitive HVAC solutions, perform heat load analysis, size equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV), and maintain CRM project records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in an Application Engineering role within HVAC.
• Proven experience in HVAC system design and equipment selection.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and commercial offers.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to select suitable HVAC solutions.
• Size HVAC equipment including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and VRV systems.
• Conduct heat load analyses and assess project-specific requirements.
• Develop technical compliance statements and submittals.
• Coordinate with factories and technical teams on non-standard requirements.
• Prepare accurate costing, pricing and commercial offers.
• Maintain CRM project records and generate regular reports.
