Key Responsibilities
- HSE Documentation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain HSE plans, risk assessments, incident reports, and procedure manuals.
- Prepare and submit monthly HSE performance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of safety audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Site Safety Management
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols aligned with UAE regulations (e.g., OSHAD, ADOSH).
- Lead accident and incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
- Training & Compliance
- Organize toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training sessions for staff and subcontractors.
- Ensure all personnel are aware of emergency procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with project-specific HSE requirements.
- Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and external auditors to align safety goals.
- Attend client and internal meetings to present HSE updates and action plans.
- Support the implementation of ISO 45001 and other relevant standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification (Level 3 or higher).
- Minimum 5–10 years of HSE experience in civil construction projects in the UAE.
- Strong command of documentation, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and local authority requirements.
