Job summary

Built Recruitment is seeking a Senior HSE Manager (Airport Infrastructure) for a leading UAE-based contractor in Dubai to lead HSE strategy across complex airport infrastructure projects. You will manage high-risk construction activities, drive ISO 45001/14001 compliance, conduct audits, and interface with clients, consultants and regulators to ensure world-class safety and environmental outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years HSE leadership experience in major construction/infrastructure
• Experience managing high-risk construction environments
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Airport project HSE strategy.
• Lead HSE teams across project sites and work packages.
• Ensure compliance with client Airport safety requirements.
• Manage high-risk construction activities and interfaces.
• Establish project HSE plans, procedures and emergency response arrangements.
• Lead HSE audits, inspections and corrective actions.
• Monitor leading and lagging HSE indicators.
• Manage contractor and subcontractor HSE performance.
• Support prequalification and tender HSE requirements.
• Lead incident investigation and corrective actions.
• Ensure effective environmental management.
• Interface with client, consultant and regulatory stakeholders.

As a consequence of recent project awards they have an immediate need to permanently appoint a Senior HSE Manager (Airport Infrastructure) in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Airport project HSE strategy.
• Lead HSE teams across project sites and work packages.

Essential Experience:

• 12+ years HSE experience with significant management experience.
• Major construction/infrastructure experience.
• Experience managing high-risk construction environments.
• Strong ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 knowledge.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in OH&S / Environmental discipline or equivalent.
• Lead Auditor / relevant ISO certifications
