AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented HSE Engineer (Site Supervision) in Abu Dhabi to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across operations. You will supervise site activities, perform risk assessments, and maintain site safety plans to protect workers.

The role requires 12+ years of HSE experience, knowledge of UAE/GCC regulations, and proficiency in incident investigation and safety audits. Aldar approval is a bonus, with ISO 45001 familiarity preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in HSE engineering or site safety supervision.
• Aldar approval will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC HSE regulations, labor laws, and industry standards.
• Proven experience conducting risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits.
• Incident investigation and root cause analysis expertise.
• Experience developing and implementing safety management systems and procedures.
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent HSE qualification (preferred).
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 standards (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Supervise and monitor all site activities to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification to prevent incidents.
• Develop, implement and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Perform safety audits and document findings with corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Provide safety training and competency assessments.
• Maintain HSE documentation and reports.
• Communicate with management, contractors and workers to promote safety.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and safety consultants as needed.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and trends.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment.
