Job summary

ADNOC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced HSE Engineer to monitor and improve safety performance across plant assets, ensure compliance, and lead HSE studies. You will collaborate with multiple functions to implement safety programs, train personnel, and manage incidents.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Safety/Industrial Engineering with 8+ years’ experience, including hands-on risk assessment and regulatory compliance in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Safety, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience, including at least 3 years as Safety/HSE Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with HSE project implementation, inspections, training and HSE systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor HSE performance to ensure compliance with standards and safe operations.
• Review reports and inputs from other functions to support HSE matters.
• Lead/participate in HSE studies (HAZOP/HAZID/RCA) and ensure continuous development of safety programs.
• Develop and maintain safety manuals, hazardous area instructions and safety communications.
• Prepare and update safety inspection checklists and schedules for plant facilities.
