Parsons is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer (Rail) to join our Dubai metro construction team. You will coordinate with Safety Officers, the HSE Manager, and contractors to implement and improve HSE management on-site.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 10+ years in health and safety on large projects, and UAE-recognized HSE certifications (OSHA/NEBOSH/IOSH). UAE driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with Health and Safety focus.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in health and safety, particularly on construction sites, infrastructure, tunneling or metro projects.
• Recognized UAE Health and Safety certifications (e.g. OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, Fire Safety) required.

Responsabilités

• Implement project HSE policy, plan, and legal requirements; monitor performance and suggest improvements.
• Liaise with the HSE Manager and contractors to improve project HSE management.
• Oversee on-site safety measures, hazard controls, and best practices.
• Review risk assessments and related documents for key activities; monitor control measures and safe work practices.
• Conduct HSE visits and audits; report findings and ensure corrective actions.
• Review contractor monthly HSE inspections/reports and drive improvements.
• Lead safety meetings and document minutes for follow-up actions.
• Review emergency preparedness, permit to work, toolbox talks, and HSE statistics per project needs.
• Mentor HSE inspectors and provide team leadership on site.
