Job summary

Parsons in Dubai UAE is seeking a seasoned HSE Site Inspector (Rail - Night Shift) to oversee health, safety and environmental practices on major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with Safety Engineers, Safety Manager, and contractor personnel to ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.

The ideal candidate holds 8+ years of HSE experience, UAE safety certifications (OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH), and a UAE driving license; you will review risk assessments, lead safety meetings, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma (3 years) in any discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of related work experience in Health and Safety, particularly in Infrastructure, Tunneling and/or Metro projects.
• With recognized Health and Safety certifications, license or training in UAE (e.g. OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, Fire Safety, etc).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with the Dubai Municipality Codes of Practice or technical guidelines.
• Must have UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Implement Parsons policy, HSE Plan, and legislation, monitor performance and targets, and suggest improvements.
• Liaise with Safety Manager and contractors to improve HSE Management requirements.
• Monitor activities to ensure the implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental measures.
• Review Hazard Analysis / Risk Assessment Plans and monitor effectiveness of controls and work methods.
• Perform site HSE visits and report concerns to the Resident Engineer for rectification.
• Review contractors' monthly HSE inspections/reports.
• Conduct monthly Safety meetings and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Review Emergency Preparedness, Permit to Work, Toolbox Talks, and HSE drills per project requirements.
• Review Incident investigations and communicate lessons learned; monitor actions.
• Perform trend analysis to identify potential hazards.
• Review Emergency response plans and monitor drills.
• Perform other duties and work shifts/weekends as required.

Job Description:

HSE / Safety Inspector (Rail - Night Shift)

Dubai UAE

Parsons is looking for a talentedHealth Safety and Environment (HSE) Site Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to liaise with Safety Engineers, Safety Manager and Contractors personnel for the improvement & implementation of Corporate, Contract and Site HSE Management requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Implement Parsons and Project HSE Policy, HSE Plan, and HSE legislation and other requirements, monitor HSE performance, and HSE targets, and suggest measures for further improvement.
• Liaise with Safety Manager and Contractors for the improvement & implementation of Project HSE Management requirements.
• Monitor contractors and the activities, to ensure the implementation of applicable Health, Safety and Environmental measures and best practices.
• Review Hazard Analysis / Risk Assessment Plan and Associated documents for all key activities and Monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures, job safety plans, and work method statements at the site.
• Perform HSE visits and report all concerns to the Resident Engineer, for immediate rectification.
• Review and Monitor Contractors' monthly HSE inspections/reports.
• Conducting monthly Safety meetings, setting the target to achieve the outstanding issues, prepare / submit the minutes to all concerned for follow-up.
• Review Emergency Preparedness and response, Permit to work system, Toolbox Talks, Daily Task Safety Talks, HSE meetings, HSE statistics & records of the contractors, according to Project requirements.
• Review Incident/Accident investigation reports from contractors, report & communicating the learning points, and monitor the immediate action and follow-up actions to minimize/prevent re-occurrence.
• Perform trend analysis for identifying potential hazards.
• Review Emergency response/rescue plans and monitor drills.
• Perform other tasks and duties associated with this position, as may be appropriate.
• Work shift work and weekends, based on the site requirements and contractors works to provide adequate HSE coverage.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelors degree or Diploma (3 years) in any discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety particularly in Infrastructure, Tunneling and/or Metro projects.
• With recognized Health and Safety certifications, license or training in UAE (e.g. OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, Fire Safety, etc).
