Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Specialist HSE (Projects) Engineer for an offshore water injection project based in Abu Dhabi with ADNOC PMC.

The role leads HSE management across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and international standards while fostering a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of HSE experience in oil and gas, offshore EPC exposure, and professional HSE certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, OH&S, or related field.
Professional HSE certification required.
10–15 years HSE experience in oil & gas or energy sector.
Experience with offshore EPC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide HSE leadership to project management, engineering, construction, commissioning, and contractor teams.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate HSE management plans and audits.
Lead risk assessments, JHA/JSA, HAZID/HAZOP and environmental assessments.
Monitor offshore construction safety, lifting, SIMOPS, and critical activities.
Lead incident investigations and reporting, and drive corrective actions.
Support commissioning and start-up HSE readiness on site.
