Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to embed Health & Safety policies across projects, sites and offices in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with local and international rules and regulations.

You will lead RAMS reviews, inspections, drills, investigations, training, and monthly HSE reporting, working with project teams, contractors, and authorities to protect personnel, assets and the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant subject.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on infrastructure projects, preferably pumping stations and storage tanks.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project compliance with HSEQ management system and client requirements.
• Monitor health, safety, and environmental arrangements at site for legal compliance.
• Review RAMS and approve contractor HSE plans.
• Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and track corrective actions.
• Lead emergency response drills and liaison with authorities.
• Follow up on incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Provide HSE guidance and training to project teams and contractors.
• Prepare monthly HSE reports with KPIs and safety initiatives.
