Job summary

Penspen Ltd is seeking a Senior HSE Engineer to lead HSE and loss prevention activities on onshore oil and gas projects. You will oversee HSE design and safety studies across Concept Study, FEED, Detailed Design and Detail Engineering phases to ensure compliance with international codes and project requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 15–20 years of Oil & Gas experience, GCC exposure, and a track record on major onshore projects, with a strong background in HAZID/HAZOP, SIL, QRA, and fire & gas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical or related engineering.
• 15–20 years of Oil & Gas experience, including GCC region.
• At least 5 years in a similar position on international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Experience with major onshore projects.
• Strong experience in HSE design and loss prevention engineering.
• Hands-on experience with HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, fire and gas detection, and safety studies.
• Knowledge of international codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities during Concept, FEED and Detailed Design.

Job description

We are hiring Senior HSE Engineerforonshore projectswith strong experiencewill lead HSE and loss prevention engineering activities throughout the Concept Study, FEED, Detailed Design, and Detail Engineering phases, ensuring technical integrity and compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and international standards.

Qualification / Experience (Skills):

• A bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical or related engineering.
• Minimum of fifteen (15 -20) years' relevant experience in Oil & Gas (5) years in in GCC region.
• Must have at least Five (5) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
• Experience with major onshore projects.
• Strong experience in HSE design and loss prevention engineering.
• Hands-on experience with HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, fire and gas detection, fire protection, hazardous-area classification, escape and evacuation studies, and safety studies.
• Sound knowledge of applicable international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities during Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.
• Experience inConcept study, FEED, Design & Detail Engineering.
