Job summary

KEO International Consultants seeks a Safety Advisor to join our Abu Dhabi team in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on implementing the HSE management plan and client procedures on construction projects, with thorough inspections, audits and incident investigations.

Candidate should have NEBOSH IGC or equivalent and ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification, plus UAE building project experience. We offer a supportive environment with health and wellbeing programs and hybrid opportunities.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is required.
• ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification is required.
• Project experience gained from building projects in UAE is looked for.

Responsibilities

• Implementing the requirements of the KEO project HSE management plan.
• Implementing client HSE procedures and reporting requirements.
• Reviewing and approving contractor’s HSE documents (e.g., HSE Plan, JSA, Method Statements / Risk Assessments and PTW).
• Carrying out daily HSE inspections, weekly HSE assessments, and monthly HSE audits.
• Tracking the closure of prohibition & improvement notices issued to the Contractor.
• Overseeing incident investigations & monitor the implementation of identified corrective action.
• Attending and contributing to project H&S meetings and management safety walks.

Education

Diploma or Bachelor Degree in a relevant field
