Grand Mercure Dubai City is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to manage daily accounting operations and support the financial controller in implementing hotel policies and procedures. The role focuses on accuracy, timeliness, and teamwork within a busy 5-star environment.

You will supervise staff, verify reconciliations, and prepare monthly reports while ensuring tax compliance and proper filing. English proficiency and strong MS Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and hotel finance systems.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily accounting operations and mentoring staff.
• Verify daily bank balances and credit card reconciliations for finance approval.
• Ensure accuracy of General Cashier reports and daily revenue deposits.
• Perform month-end GL reconciliations and report variances to the Director of Finance.
• Review monthly reports like F&B and Cost Controller as per policy.
• Ensure timely tax payments and filings; resolve variances.
• Assist Financial Controller with budgeting, policy application, financial analysis, and ad hoc duties.
• Maintain organized accounting records and contracts for easy retrieval.
