Apt Resources has partnered with a premier UAE restaurant management group to recruit for Senior Hostess positions in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering a warm welcome, guiding guests to seating, and coordinating reservations to ensure a flawless dining experience.

The Senior Hostess will work closely with service and kitchen teams to maintain excellent guest satisfaction, manage special requests, and uphold our standards across multiple award-winning venues.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hospitality front-of-house experience.
• Experience with reservation systems (SevenRooms/OpenTable).
• Excellent English communication.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for guests and set a welcoming tone.
• Greet and seat guests, manage reservations, waitlists, seating plans, and special requests.
• Maintain restaurant presentation, menus, and table settings to brand standards.
• Coordinate with service, production and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Guide and assist other hostesses and coworkers and document updates for management.
• Complete opening/closing duties and daily housekeeping tasks.
• Follow grooming, safety, and health procedures; report incidents as needed.

Job description

Apt Resources has been retained by a renowned Restaurant Management Group in UAE to source and select experienced Senior Hostess's for their existing restaurants. The group owns and manages several premium restaurants in Dubai that have won several awards and accolades.

As Senior Hostess, you will help shape each guest's experience from the moment they arrive, setting the tone with a warm welcome and ensuring service flows smoothly throughout the dining experience. This role is central to creating a strong first impression, supporting guest satisfaction, and serving as a point of reference for other hostesses while working closely with service, production, and wider restaurant teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for guests and set a warm, welcoming tone.
• Greet and seat guests, manage reservations, waitlists, seating plans, and special requests, and monitor dining-room availability, safety, cleanliness, and guest well-being.
• Maintain menus, place settings, tables, work areas, supplies, and restaurant presentation to company standards.
• Communicate menu and item availability, respond to guest questions and concerns, anticipate service needs, and support guests with disabilities within established guidelines.
• Coordinate closely with service, production, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Guide and assist other hostesses and coworkers, exchange information clearly, and document relevant updates for management.
• Complete opening, closing, side-work, restocking, reporting, security, and daily cleaning duties.
• Follow grooming, confidentiality, quality, health, safety, security, OHS, emergency, and environmental procedures; report incidents, hazards, injuries, and maintenance issues and assist with risk assessments.
• Attend training and meetings and perform other duties as business needs evolve.

Qualification Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• 3-5 years of related hospitality or restaurant front-of-house experience
• Experience with SevenRooms, OpenTable, or similar restaurant reservation or guest booking systems
• Basic knowledge of international cuisine and wines
• Experience greeting and seating guests, managing special requests, and addressing guest questions and concerns
• Experience handling restaurant reservations and waitlists
• Good command of English
• Available to work evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and late service hours
